Located in Makunduchi, Zanzibar, we operate a project that rehabilitates injured turtles and educates the local community on why turtle conservation is of importance to Zanzibar's ecosystem.
Across Zanzibar, we renovate, construct, and paint at-need schools so they can have better facilities to instruct students.
In Dar and Zanzibar, we offer medical internships for those interested in learning how the Tanzanian healthcare system operates to help improve the livelihood of local communities.
In Dar, we provide interns the access to teach pre and primary level students how to learn english, math, science, and music. We also provide those interested in storytelling the opportunity to shoot our project or learn filmmaking techniques from a Tanzanian video producer.
In Dar, we give interns the opportunity to engage in football projects and to interact with students through teaching the importance of physical education, exercise, and building self-esteem through sport.
In Dar and Zanzibar, interns raise awareness of the importance of disposing trash properly to local communities and they participate in planting trees and beach, market, & village cleanups.
