The goal of our organization is to utilize both local and international resources to offer educational and environmental services to the communities of Tanzania & Zanzibar. We operate a daycare & primary school, community center, turtle sanctuary project, medical internships, football academy programs, and renovate at-need schools.
For volunteers and interns, we have locations in Tanzania's Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar's Stone Town, Kendwa, and Makunduchi. As an NGO, we welcome both locals and foreigners alike the opportunity to participate in cultural exchange and get involved.
The Busungu Community Organization provides a variety of educational services to the people of Tanzania and Zanzibar to improve their quality of life, especially for youths. We focus on the importance of supporting local initiatives while also embracing international collaboration by housing foreign volunteers.
